Welcome to RED RUBY,
Myanmar’s Purest Natural Harvest
Red Ruby Lablab Beans Gota
Whole Dehulled Lablab Beans from Myanmar
Red Ruby Lablab Beans Gota are produced from carefully selected mature lablab beans with their outer husk removed while retaining the whole bean. This gives them a clean, creamy-white appearance, mild nutty flavour and smooth, tender texture after cooking.
Also known as Whole Dehulled Lablab Beans or Huskless Hyacinth Beans, they absorb herbs, spices and sauces beautifully. Their versatile flavour makes them suitable for curries, coconut-based gravies, soups, stews, rice dishes, salads and savoury snacks.
Naturally processed and hygienically packed in Myanmar, Red Ruby Lablab Beans Gota offer convenient plant-based nutrition for households, restaurants, catering businesses, retailers and food manufacturers.
Alternative name: Huskless Hyacinth Beans
Scientific name: Lablab purpureus
Health and Nutritional Benefits
Provides Plant-Based Protein
Lablab beans naturally provide plant-based protein, which contributes to the maintenance and repair of muscles and other body tissues. Research describes lablab as a nutrient-rich pulse containing protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.
Source of Dietary Fibre
Lablab beans naturally contain dietary fibre, which supports normal digestive function and helps make meals more satisfying. Because the outer husk has been removed, Lablab Beans Gota may contain less fibre than whole lablab beans with their skin intact.
Provides Sustained Energy
The natural combination of carbohydrates and plant protein makes Lablab Beans Gota a satisfying ingredient for lunch and dinner. Healthy dietary guidance recommends including pulses as part of a varied diet based largely on minimally processed foods.
Naturally Contains Minerals
Lablab beans naturally provide minerals that may include iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and zinc. The exact quantities vary according to the variety, soil, growing conditions and processing method.
Supports Digestive Wellness
Properly cooked huskless lablab beans develop a soft and creamy texture. Including pulses in a varied diet can contribute to daily fibre intake and support regular digestive function.
Suitable for Heart-Conscious Meals
Lablab Beans Gota can be cooked without excessive saturated fat, salt or sugar. Preparing them with vegetables, whole grains and moderate amounts of cooking oil makes them suitable for a balanced, heart-conscious eating pattern.
Supports Balanced Weight Management
Meals containing plant protein and fibre can be filling and satisfying. Lablab Beans Gota may therefore be included in a balanced, portion-conscious diet, particularly when served with vegetables and prepared using moderate amounts of oil.
Suitable for Vegetarian and Vegan Diets
Lablab Beans Gota are entirely plant-based and can add protein, carbohydrates and naturally occurring micronutrients to vegetarian and vegan meals.
Suggested Daily Consumption
Lablab Beans Gota may be enjoyed regularly as part of a varied and balanced diet. A practical serving for many adults is approximately ½ to 1 cup of thoroughly cooked beans, depending on age, activity level, nutritional requirements and the other foods included in the meal.
For a balanced serving, combine them with:
